As part of a major technological upgrade, Corporación AZENDE strategically chose SIPA’s European technology. This decision was influenced by SIPA’s strong market presence, with hundreds of machines and diverse technologies installed worldwide.
The new complete bottling line operates at an impressive speed of 14,400 bottles per hour (across its main bottle formats from 600 ml to 1400 ml), and is designed to fill various formats for three distinct product lines:
- Agua VIVANT: Natural Spring Water VIVANT, among the market-leading brands, available in lightweight bottles of 600 ml, 1000 ml, and 1200 ml with sport caps.
- SWITCH FLOW: A leading brand of alcoholic ready-to-drink carbonated cocktails, packaged in 350 ml, 1400 ml, and 2000 ml formats.
- STORM & NICETEA: Soft drinks and ready-to-drink tea offered in 450 ml and 1250 ml bottles.
This versatility highlights Corporación Azende’s commitment to meeting the diverse demands of Ecuadorian consumers. Notably, this bottling line is fully capable of mixing and bottling SPIRITS RTD (Ready-To-Drink alcoholic beverages) in PET bottles—a significant innovation in the region.
